Urmila Devi Pasman,w/o Bilat Pasman
Urmila Devi Pasman is one of the seniormost artist of Goidana(Tattoo) painting Tradition.She learnt this art from her mother in law and National Awardee artist Late Chano Devi of Village Jitwarpur. Urmila has bee practicing this art since last 45 years. Her works have been Exhibited Nationally and internationally.she has been Awarded with State Award in the year 1985-86,recently she has been awarded the Prestigious National Merit Certificate By Ministry of Textiles,Goverment of India.Her works are in collection of several Museums of the world.Presently Urmila Devi lives and works from village Jitwarpur,Madhubani District,Bihar,India.
